Stephen Arterburn, M.Ed., holds degrees from Baylor University and The University of North Texas as well as two honorary doctorate degrees and is currently completing his doctoral studies in Christian counseling. He serves as a teaching pastor at Heartland Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. Stephen is also the founder of the Women of Faith conferences, founder and chairman of New Life Ministries, and host of the talk show “New Life Live.” As a nationally known public speaker, Stephen was inducted into the National Speakers Association’s Hall of Fame in August 2000. He is a best-selling author with over 7,000,000 books in print. Further, he has been nominated for numerous writing awards and won three Gold Medallions for writing excellence. Along with Dave Stoop, he edited and produced The Life Recovery Bible. |

David Stoop, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist in the State of California and an ordained minister. He received his Masters in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary and his Ph.D. from the University of Southern California where he serves as an adjunct professor for courses associated with family therapy. He is the founder and director of The Center for Family Therapy in Newport Beach, California, where he has his counseling practice. He also serves on the Executive Board of the American Association of Christian Counselors. Dr. Stoop is a Gold Medallion winning author who has written over 30 books. For over 35 years, David has been working with families, marriages, and addictions. He has co-hosted the nationally syndicated radio and TV program called “New Life Live”, and has also co-edited The Life Recovery Bible, which sold over 1.6 million copies. |
