THE ALL NEW Caring for People God's Way is a general introduction to biblical counseling. You will be introduced to the tough issues that pain today's generations, the modern-day search for answers, and the biblical basis for a counseling ministry. Breaking Free is a program of study examining issues in biblical counseling. This course utilizes the biblical excellence and clinical mental health expertise of over 30 professionals in the field of Christian counseling to focus on advanced counseling issues. Special interest will be given to addiction and other complicated issues stemming from life experience.

Light University is the epitome of flexibility, allowing you to design any schedule that is convenient for you. There is no official deadline in which you must be finished with your coursework. You can study when and where you want and take as long as you need to complete your lessons. Will I receive a certificate when I finish my program of study? Yes. You will receive a beautiful certificate from Light University signifying the completion of the entire program of study. Your certificate does not, however, certify you to counsel. That would be the decision of your local church pastor or counseling minister. Can I use these programs as a training program for lay counselors in my ministry? Yes.
